Enough is enough!

I have been following stories about driving schools and driving standards and after 10+ years in Bahrain I feel I have to write my first letter to the GDN!

I am German and, like all Germans I am very sensitive about manoeuvres by those behind me. I have to protect myself but enough is enough! Bahraini drivers have finally pushed and pushed to the point of no return.

Where else in the world is it normal to use the emergency lane to push past traffic? Where else in the world is it normal to use children as airbags? Where else in the world is it normal for the police to be treated with contempt? Nowhere!

I watch and wonder why the police ignore people passing red traffic signals, turning left from the right lane, speed and drive dangerously. Are they lazy? Don’t they want to get off their big seats?

I want to support the idea of private driving schools. We have these in my motherland and if I am lucky enough to find a man and have the babies, I will only send them to a private driving school, not a local one where the instructors are like dinosaurs.

Bahrain, GDN, Citizens for Bahrain help me keep my mind.
A VERY VERY Frustrated Gesche
