I am deeply saddened by the news of Sheikh Nimr’s execution in Saudi Arabia. Nimr was loved and supported by everyone around the world. I send my condolences to the family of Sheikh Nimr and pray for the safety of his family. Executing the Shia leader just because the government did not like what he has said is not acceptable for Shia Muslims. The execution of Sheikh Nimr is a dreadful event for the Muslim community. I am 14 years old and look at the news, and I am saddened by the execution, and it makes me wonder where the world is heading too.
