MANAMA: Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in Bahrain, announced its highly successful participation in the Gulf Property Show 2015.
The event was held from May 12 to 14 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Manama, under the patronage of the His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
A regular participant of the annual Gulf Property Show ever since its inception, Diyar Al Muharraq occupied a prominent place among hundreds of participants, that was even more so this year with its strategic sponsorship of the event.
It received a constant stream of individual visitors and property developers who expressed a keen interest in the various projects on display.
Diyar Al Muharraq showcased the development in its entirety by displaying its master plan that emphasised on its many investment opportunities, specifically highlighting the commercial investment opportunities it presents to both visitors and investors.
Diyar Al Muharraq also focused on the commercial lots available for investment and invited potential suitors to buy into its highly lucrative projects such as Commercial Villa Plots, the B5 Residential Buildings Plots, Light Industry/Logistics and Warehousing Plots and the Commercial Showroom Plots. Also during the expo, Diyar Al Muharraq registered the names of potential investors who were interested in purchasing residential land plots in an upcoming project represented in a Residential Waterfront Community.
“We are immensely proud and elated to be announcing our enormous success in the Gulf Property Show 2015,” Diyar Al Muharraq chief executive Dr Maher Al Shaer said. “It was expected due to the sheer size and scope of our current and potential contributions to Bahrain. There was a considerable increase in interest to our project and visits to our stall as compared to last year.
“On behalf of Diyar Al Muharraq, I would also like to express my deep appreciation of the support extended by HRH the Premier. “His presence at the event is testament to the sincere effort our government exerts towards supporting the real estate development sector in the kingdom.
“This was highlighted by his stance in furthering relations between the private and public companies in the real estate and property development sectors and promoting partnerships between the two that will result in the good of the entire community of Bahrain,” he added.
Global Real Estate Development Company, Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi who are experts in urbanisation and renewal, also unveiled details of a new mixed-use waterfront project.
It will include 3,500 high-end apartments, a cruise terminal and a traditional suq, with the urban development located within the master-planned community of Diyar Al Muharraq.
Marasi Al Bahrain, as the project is named, will be built in partnership with Emaar Hospitality Group and the development will be an 865,000 square metre unique, water side lifestyle, business and leisure destination offering luxury hotels and restaurants that is set to come up on the eastern shores of Diyar Al Muharraq. The unveiling was greeted with a positive response from visitors.
“Marasi Al Bahrain will have significant benefits for the Bahraini economy, in terms of both job creation and boosting tourism,” Dr Al Shaer said.
“We are also proud as a local developer to be partnering with Emaar Hospitality Group to overlook our hotels and services residencies, due to their vast experience in this regard.
“We look forward to participate again in the exhibition in 2016, promising to come back bigger and grander in our constant strive to solidify the kingdom’s status as the most prominent investment hub for real estate and property development in the Northern Gulf,” he added.
