Fantasy come true!

THE Bahrain Summer Festival 2014 started yesterday with the Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy show.

It featured an international cast of aerialists, contortionists, acrobats, jugglers and musicians, who depicted nature’s exotic creations.

The festival was opened by Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa.

She said the festival is part of efforts to bring the world closer through culture and for Bahrain to be a suitable destination for all family members and an excellent opportunity to discover talents.

The show will run until tomorrow at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The opening ceremony of Nakhool City was also held yesterday.

The sixth edition of the festival will run until August 30.

It is being held under the theme ‘Summer of Colours’ and will bring together talented artists and performers from around the world.
