Manama, Aug.9 (BNA): A press conference will be held on Monday at the Bahrain National Museum to shed light on Ta’a Al-Shabab, an annual festival organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
A booklet detailing the festival programme will be launched by the organising committee in the presence of BACA President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa. The festival will be held as part of the BACA lined-up 2015 cultural festivities, being held under the theme “Our Year of Heritage”. The then Ministry of Culture and Information launched in 2009 Ta’a Al-Shabab Festival, which was the brainchild of its founder the late Mohammed Al-Banki in a bid to engage youth into cultural activities.
