Manama, May 13 (BNA)– Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Minister in Charger of Oil and Gas Affairs, received today a delegation from the Bahraini-Japanese Economic Cooperation Society which comprised 50 businessmen from 20 Japanese companies.

He gave a presentation on the financial and economic policies followed in Bahrain and the role of the general budget as a tool for the government to carry out those policies.

He also stressed the need to support cooperation between Bahrain and Japan in the private sector to further promote the national economy in both countries.

The Finance Ministry and the National Oil and Gas Authority briefed the meeting on the projects set to be implemented in the future and ways of availing of the Japanese experience in many vital economic sectors.
