New Zealand Football has confirmed the squad for this month’s intercontinental World Cup playoff against Mexico will be confirmed late tomorrow morning.
It’s believed coach Ricki Herbert will name at least 22 for the trip, up from the 18 that were included for the Bahrain playoff in 2009.
Ex-All White and football commentator David Chote says it’s hard to see any real bolters coming into Herbert’s thinking.
But, Chote would like to see young Central Coast Mariners right-back Storm Roux in the squad.
The squad is due to be revealed around 11am.
