Manama, July 23 (BNA): The Foreign Media Correspondents Club in Bahrain has stressed the importance of the commitment to all international norms and conventions by all countries of the world, particularly the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of states and the respect of their sovereignty and independence to maintain international peace and security.
The club, which includes regional and international audio, visual and written media representatives, stated that the statements of interference in other countries’ internal affairs are contrary to the stable relations among states, which are based on mutual respect and non-interference in their internal affairs.
The club called for concerted efforts to support regional and international peace amid terrorist attempts aimed at undermining states’ stability.
The club said it welcomed the Interior Minister’s patriotic call against Iranian interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
It wished Bahrain further stability to continue its development achievements for its peaceful people.
