Foreign Minister condoled by Arab League Chief

Manama, Sep. 5(BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received a phone call from the Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Elaraby.


The Secretary General expressed his sincere condolences to the Foreign Minister after the martyrdom of 5 brave Bahraini soldiers while carrying out their national and holy duty of working in the operations of restoring hope, supporting legitimacy and instating security and stability in Yemen while at the same time defending the interests of the Arab countries and safeguarding its security.

The Foreign Minister expressed deep gratitude for the condolences of the Arab League Secretary-General stressing his country’s appreciation of the remarkable attitudes of the Arab League which come in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all situations and circumstances and supports the interests of Arab countries and the aspirations of their peoples.

The Foreign Minister also affirmed the consistent policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain of supporting Arab causes and contributing with its Arab brothers in the promotion of their stability and protecting their achievements. Shaikh Khalid wished the Arab League further success and progress.
