Manama, Jul. 13. (BNA) — Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa stated that the governments of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America remain in continuous contact regarding the recent visit of Mr. Thomas Malinowski, Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, to Bahrain.

The Minister lauded the long-standing and solid Bahraini-US relation in the security, military, economic, educational and developmental fields.

He pointed that the two countries have set an example of good relations, being partners in securing the waters of the Arabian Gulf, along with other GCC countries, and are related by many agreements in various fields.

The Foreign Minister emphasised the determination of Bahrain and the United States not allow any issue to undermine the strong and enduring partnership between them, and their commitment to move the relationship forward in all fields.
