Manama- Oct31 (BNA) The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today the British Ambassador Iain Lindsay and hailed strong bilateral relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UK.
He commended the participation of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister in the ninth World Islamic Economic Forum , which contributed to further bolstering cooperation and coordination.

The two sides discussed the upcoming meeting of the joint Bahraini-British committee, set to be held this November in the UK, with the aim of bolstering cooperation between the two countries at various fields. Discussions spotlighted current regional and international developments as well as issues of mutual interest.
