Manama, Apr.26 (BNA): Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa received British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, who arrived this evening in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Foreign Minister welcomed the British official and lauded deep-rooted relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, hailing growing ties in all fields in light of the keenness of the two countries’ leaders on expanding cooperation for the sake of mutual interest.
He affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on further bolstering joint cooperation and coordination regarding all issues of mutual interest, towards consolidating regional security and stability. He said that Bahrain looks forward to strengthening cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations to higher levels.
Hammond expressed his delight at the warm welcome and hailed Bahrain’s landmark strides, stressing his country’s keenness on bolstering bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in all fields.
