Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received Ambassador Simon Martin who presented copies of his credential as Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The minister welcomed the ambassador, hailing the ever-growing close historic relations between the two friendly countries in all fields. He also affirmed both sides keenness to bolster bilateral ties to reach broader levels and meet common interests, wishing the newly-appointed ambassador every success in his diplomatic mission.

For his part, the ambassador vowed to spare no effort to further boost bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain at all levels to meet the ambitions of the two friendly countries and peoples.
