Manama, Sept. 14 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has welcomed former Turkish President Abullah Gul upon arrival in the kingdom today.

Former Turkish President is expected to deliver a lecture tomorrow on “The Prospects for Peace in the Region and Ways to Achieve It”, organised by the International Peace Institute, Middle East North Africa (IPI, MENA), with the participation of the Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and IPI President Terje Roed-Larsen.
