Manama, July 20 (BNA) — The Gulf Inspection Committee (GIC) tomorrow will meet in the Kingdom of Bahrain to set all recommendations and suggestions that will be submitted to Secretaries-General of Gulf States, Yemen and Iraq on hosting the 22nd Arabian Gulf Cup in Basra.
The Qatari Saud Al-Mohannadi will chair the meeting, which includes Chairman of Engineering Committee Ghanim Ali Al Kuwari from Qatar, Sahoo Faihan Al-Sahoo from Kuwait, Saleh Al-Farsi from Oman and Hamad Al-Shaibani from Yemen.
The GIC has recently visited the city of Basra and inspected the training and tournament’s fields, hospitals and hotels and submitted all suggestions and recommendations to the host country.
GIC will submit its recommendations and suggestions to the Secretaries-General meeting on 22 July 2013, the latter meeting will submit a detailed report to the GCC Heads of Football Associations’ meeting to be held in Bahrain 23 July 2013.
Bahrain Football Association Deputy Chairman for the Administrative and Technical Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulla Al-Nuaimi lauded the GIC members’ efforts exerted during visiting Basra and wished them success in their mission.
