MUSCAT Bahrain Businesswomen Society praised the role of the Sultanate’s Government in supporting and encouraging women by establishing institutions concerned with women entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized establishments.

The society applauded the performance of Omani working women in the trade and economic fields and their active role in engaging in the business market.

A meeting was held between businesswomen from the Governorate of North Sharqiyah with Bahraini businesswomen at the Bahrain society’s headquarters in Manama during the recent visit of a group of businessmen and women there. A collaboration joint venture was unveiled between the Bahraini Businesswomen Society and the Omani businesswomen in all fields that support the women trade projects in the future.

Dr Hala Jamal, a prominent businesswoman in Bahrain, said that Omani women made their way to success through distinguished businesses. Omani women entrepreneurs were considered a successful model for Omani, Gulf and Arab women with their presence in trading activities and businesses.
