Gulf Air entered into a partnership with the United Nations in Bahrain supporting the MY World Survey. The initiative is recognition of the importance of raising awareness of sustainable development goals.

Peter Grohmann, United Nations resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative explained, “Created by the United Nations, the MY World Survey is the first global survey. It is designed to utilize people’s voices and opinions to help shape the post-2015 global development agenda. This allows world citizens to submit their six priorities, from a list of 16, which they believe would have the most impact on their future.”

The UN set up a voting booth at Gulf Air at which all employees were given the opportunity to vote for the six issues which would make the most difference to their lives. MY World is available in 14 different languages, including Arabic and English.
