MANAMA: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) patronised a mass wedding ceremony involving 224 couples in Bahrain for the second time in order to help newlywed get a chance to establish new families and contributing in developing the society.

Bahrain’s parliament speaker, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani in his statement during the ceremony which was held at the Shaikhan Al Farisi Hall, hailed UAE’s assistance through the KZHF and affirmed his country’s keenness in boosting the sisterly relations between the two countries describing UAE and Bahrain “one country, one people and having joint security.”

He underscored that the ceremony signified the highest level of cooperation and brotherhood reflecting the strong relations between the two sides at all levels appreciated and patronised by the leadership of the two countries.

He also expressed his happiness as the mass wedding coincided with the UAE’s 41st National Day celebrations under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s parliament speaker extended greetings to the UAE people and leadership on this occasion as well as to Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs and chairman of the KZHF for his continuous support for the mass wedding in Bahrain.
