Manama: Dec. 26 – (BNA) Minister of Health Mister Sadiq bin Abdul-Kareem Al-Shehabi received the Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hatun Demirer.
The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly health and the exchange of information and expertise in the health field as well as training Bahraini medical personnel in Turkish hospitals.
The Minister briefed the ambassador about health projects in Bahrain, with a focus on the Centre for Blood Disorders and Hereditary Diseases, the Shaikh Jabir Al-Sabah Health Centre in Barbar, as well the ministry’s efforts to ensure the provision of prompt accessible health services to patients in all five Governorates of the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Health Assistant Undersecretary for Primary and Public Health Dr. Mariam Al-Jalahma and the Director of Public and International Relations in the Ministry Anissa Al-Howaihi attended the meeting. (IY)
