Manama, Dec. 19. (BNA) – In the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club High Committee HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club today held the seventh race for this season at at its racecourse in Rafaa, Sakhir.

The races were held over Al-Hawaj and the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) cups, as well as the National Day, which was sponsored by the Information Affairs Authority (IAA).

Diplomatic corps, IAA President Ali Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, BOC Secretary-General Abdulrahman Askar, representatives of Al-Hawaj family and horse-racing fans were also present.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BOC Secretary-General, Director-General of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club Tawfeeq Sharaf Al-Alawi, Jawad Al-Hawaj, Abdulwahab Al-Hawaj and IAA President presented winners with cups.
