Manama: March 11 – (BNA): The generous, kind patronage of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)’s Honorary President, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has been appreciated by the Chairman of RCO Board of Trustees His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa who emphasized compliance with the directives of HM the King in supporting widows, orphans and all the needy persons in the kindgom of Bahrain and providing them with all the needs of decent living.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser valued HM the King’s humanitarian gestures towards disaster-stricken countries around the globe, where RCO contributes and aids generously as directed by its Honorary President. He appreciated the continuous support from the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Government led by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister .
His Highness reviewed the organisation’s recent developmental strategies and projects, which included establishing Al Hidd Investment Building, which is built to financially benefit RCO projects for widows and orphans, as well as diversifying the financial resources for the organisation.
Following his recent visit to the Philippines, His Highness affirmed that agreements had been signed to establish two training centres carrying the name of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to a residential complex which comes within the Kingdom’s donations to the recently stricken country.
His Highness during his recent visit to the Philippines, H.E. President Benigno Aquino III who appreciated the humanitarian supportive stances of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa with regard to people in disaster-affected areas in the Philippines.
RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed highlighted agreements signed between RCO, the Bahraini Red Crescent and the Philippines Red Cross.
The Board of Trustees members hailed the diligence of HM the King, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for supporting the RCO efforts and philanthropic deeds.
