Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the occasion of the Middle East Ironman Championship second position achieved by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
The result achieved by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was parallel with His Highness’s successful supervision over the distinctive organisation and production of this global athletic event hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain as felt by the participants from around the world, HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister affirmed.

His Royal Highness along with His Majesty the King attended the conclusive competitions of ME Ironman’s Championship which indicates His Majesty the King’s constant support to all sports events and activities featured in the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the Royal care and attention to the youth and sports sector which reflects in the good internal and external interaction in the sector together with continuous development regarding the hosting of athletic events and participations.
