Manama, Dec25(BNA)His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Safriya Palace Azeri Defence Minister General Zakir Hasanov and the accompanying delegation, marking their visit to Bahrain. The minister conveyed to HM the King greetings from Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, who wished the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
HM the King welcomed General Zakir Hasanov , extending his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev and wishes of development and progress to his friendly people. He hailed solid bilateral relations, stressing Bahrain’s keenness on expanding joint cooperation, particularly military ties.
HM the King hailed the signing today of preambles relating to the implementation of the joint military cooperation pact, saying that the deal would further bolster military ties.HM the King underscored the importance of such visits in strengthening cooperation, bolstering coordination and exchanging expertise in all fields. Latest regional and international developments were also discussed.
