Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA)– His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace today Jordanian Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain.

HM welcomed him, stressing solid fraternal ties binding both countries and lauding the advanced level of bilateral cooperation at all levels. He also commended Jordan’s honourable stances in support of Bahrain, praising the role of Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II in serving Arab and Islamic issues, boosting peace in the Middle East and finding a just and permanent solution to the Palestinian issue.

HM the King reviewed with the Jordanian minister ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation and the latest regional and international developments.

The Jordanian Minister conveyed to HM the King the greetings of King Abdullah II and his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to Bahrain. He also congratulated HM the King on the return of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to Bahrain after undergoing successful medical checkups.

The minister also congratulated HM the King on success of the parliamentary and municipal elections, praising the democratic and reform march under his leadership.
