Manama- Nov 20(BNA)His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Sakhir Palace new Bahraini Ambassador to the United States Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Khalifa, who took his oath.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister attended. HM the King congratulated the ambassador, wishing him every success in assuming his new diplomatic position.

He gave his directives to the ambassador to work towards bolstering deep-rooted historic relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Sates. He affirmed Bahrain’s adopted policies in bolstering relations with the United States for the sake of both friendly countries and peoples.

HM the King commended the important role of Bahraini ambassadors in bolstering relations with brotherly and friendly countries, promoting Bahrain’s image and highlighting its landmark political, economic and cultural achievements. The ambassador paid tribute to HM the King, describing royal directives as a catalyst to work towards strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation.
