Manama, Feb11(BNA)His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Sakhir Palace new Bahraini ambassadors who took their oath.
Newly-appointed diplomats Tariq Mubarak bin Daina, Hamed Mohammed Al-Asfoor and Dr. Anwar Yusuf Al-Abdalla will serve respectively as ambassadors of the Kingdom of Bahrain to India, Algeria and China.
HM the King congratulated the new ambassadors and commended their competence and experience in assuming this responsibility, wishing them every success in performing their new diplomatic duties.
He directed the new ambassadors to consolidate relations bonding Bahrain and these brotherly and friendly countries, stressing the Kingdom’s drive to promote bilateral ties with these states on the basis of mutual respect, understanding, coordination and cooperation for the sake of joint interests.
HM King Hamad gave directives to the newly-appointed ambassadors to take care of Bahraini expatriates in these countries. He commended the crucial role of ambassadors in bolstering cooperation with all countries in the world.
He stressed the important role of diplomats in exploring new horizons to ensure further constructive and fruitful cooperation and bolster Bahrain’s standing in the Arab and international arenas.
HM the King assigned the newly-appointed ambassadors to extend his greetings to the leaders of these respective countries, wishing their peoples further progress and prosperity.
The ambassadors paid tribute to HM the King for the royal confidence, describing his directives as a catalyst to exert more efforts towards consolidating relations of friendship and cooperation bonding Bahrain and these countries. They vowed to spare no efforts to be up to HM the King’s expectations and assume their duties fully for the sake of Bahrain and its loyal people.
