Manama, July6(BNA) Bahrain will always remain a safe oasis and a beacon of openness on diverse cultures, standing at the cross-roads of civilizations and renouncing extremism, violence and terrorism, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa said.
He voiced full confidence in the ability of conscious-minded Bahraini people to preserve their country’s security and stability and safeguard hard-won national achievements.
“We are confident that the developments and upheavals which are unfolding in the region will not affect us negatively however alarming they are”, he said as he received this evening well-wishers from the Northern Governorate, who expressed their congratulations on the advent of Ramadan.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister also attended at Shaikh Hamad Palace.
HM the King paid tribute to loyal Bahrainis who proved their patriotic mettle all along their history and rallied to protect their country’s security and achievements and foil all subversive designs.
The well-wishers all prayed Allah Almighty to bless HM the King with utmost health and happiness and Bahrain and its people with progress, prosperity, security and stability.
They expressed their allegiance, paying tribute to HM the King for receiving them and gauging their needs and conditions.
They hailed the royal care for the Northern Governorate people’s interests and needs to ensure them decent living conditions, pledging to follow in the steps fathers and forefathers in their unwavering loyalty to the homeland and its leadership.
They also took pride in Bahrain’s landmark development strides in the prosperous era of HM the King, which earning the Kingdom regional and international recognition.
HM the King thanked the well-wishers for their good feelings and sincere patriotic stances, stressing the importance of such meetings which bring hearts closer and fosters amity, loyalty and sincerity, being the pillars of Bahrain’s long-standing Arab and Islamic heritage.
He urged all people to foster their values in their children and draw the lesson from the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan to cement national unity for all Bahrainis to become a closely-knit family and disseminate the culture of love and tolerance.
“The people of Bahrain will always stand united and protect their landmark national achievements as they aspire to build a brighter future for the coming generations”, he said, adding that the Kingdom will always remain the country of plenty, cooperation and fraternity that binds all citizens.
He urged all people and institutions in the Northern Governorate to contribute to maintaining Bahrain’s security and stability, renounce violence and safeguard civic peace.
He urged them to promote the spirit of community partnership and follow in the steps of other governorates in monitoring their children and protect them from any brainwashing or indoctrination.
HM the King stressed the importance of respecting the rule of the law, being the real cornerstone of true reforms and sustainable development, reiterating resolve to continue the reform process.
“We must listen to each other’s and pay attention to plots which are being masterminded abroad to subvert our national unity and stability through the industry of sedition and extremism”, HM the King said.
