HM King receives ambassadors’ credentials

Manama, June 29 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Sakhir Palace, the credentials of four new ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The newly-appointed Ambassadors are Chinese Qi Zhenhong, Philippine Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver, Indian Alok Kumar Sinha and Swedish Jan Thesleff.

HM the King exchanged with the new ambassadors statements of welcome, hailing good bilateral relations bonding Bahrain and their respective friendly countries.

He lauded steadily-growing ties in all fields, wishing them every success in their diplomatic duties to bolster cooperation and friendship with the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The ambassadors conveyed greetings from the heads of their states, who wished HM the King health and happiness and further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. They also hailed strong bilateral relations bonding their countries and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The ceremony was attended by HM the King’s Personal Representative, the Royal Court Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Royal Court Follow-up Minister and the Head of the Royal Protocol.
