Manama, Nov 11 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representatives for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO), marking Bahrain winning first place at the level of Gulf and Arab countries and the 13th globally in Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)’s World Giving Index 2015, among 145 countries evaluated according to the index.

Shaikh Nasser, in the cable, said that the index reflects the relief and humanitarian efforts offered by the Kingdom of Bahrain to the poor of the world. In addition to financial contributions, building hospitals and schools and providing tents, food and medicine for those who were displaced due to conflicts or natural disasters.

Shaikh Nasser underlined HM the King’s support for the needy of friendly and brotherly countries that has contributed to bringing this achievement and animated the RCO’s staff to bring the royal vision into reality.
