Manama, Jul. 19. (BNA) – Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Balooshi has extended sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), for donating USD 5 million to the Palestinians in Gaza and constant keenness to provide relief aid for the needy and disaster-stricken people all over the world.

In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Dr. Al Balooshi praised HM the King’s kind donation and directives to provide the needed support for the brotherly Palestinians.

She said that HM King Hamad’s “honourable stances” confirm the kingdom’s unwavering support to the Palestinians.

She extended similar thanks to the Chairman of RCO’s Board of Trustees Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for launching the National Campaign to Support the Palestinian People in Gaza and calling on companies, institutions and citizens to contribute to such a charitable work aiming to help the Palestinians and alleviate their suffered as a result of the war waged against them by Israel.
