HM the King’s pro-Palestinian stances hailed

Manama, July17(BNA)Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is set to pay a seventy-two hour visit to Bahrain meet His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. “The two leaders will hold key talks as the whole Arab region is going through a critical period”, Taha Mohammed Abdul Qader said.
In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he commented Bahrain’s unwavering stance in support of the legitimate Palestinian cause. “The Palestinian people will never forget the honourable stances of the Bahraini leadership and people”, he said
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for backing the just Palestinian cause, lauding Bahrain for being always in the vanguard in support the Palestinians’ inalienable rights. He hailed HM the King’s humanitarian initiatives and political stances as well as his stance in support of the Palestinian cause, being a central issue for all the Arab and Islamic nations.
He cited in this regard the health, social and social lifeline extended through the Royal Charity Organisation to besieged Palestinians in Gaza Strip as well as Ramallah and Jerusalem in the West Bank. The Palestinian diplomat hailed HM the King’s donation, commending the establishment of the Bahrain National Committee for Solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
“A total of 450 Bahraini charity societies and funds have been invited to take part in the philanthropic telethon in support of distressed Palestinians in Gaza”, Mr. Abdul Qader said. In the statement, he said that the Arab nation is facing a conspiracy to cause its territorial disintegration and fuel internecine conflicts and sectarian strife.
