Manama: The Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre Bahrain (KMCC) will build houses for 50 low-paid Indian workers in their native places.

The initiative ‘Bait ul Rehma’ (House of Mercy) will be launched by Kerala legislative assembly member K M Shaji at 7.30pm next Friday at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam, Segaiya, KMCC officials said at a Press conference held at the centre’s office in Manama.

After the launch, Mr Shaji will deliver the Shihab Thangal memorial lecture, they said.

In commemoration of the late Muslim League leader Syed Muhammad Ali Shihab Thangal, KMCC will also hold a blood donation camp on the same day at Salmaniya Medical Centre from 8am to 3pm.
