Hotel celebrates 35th anniversary

Bahrain: A hotel in Bahrain has celebrated its 35th anniversary. During a reception to mark the occasion at the InterContinental Regency Bahrain, the InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) signed a 10-year extension of its management of the five-star hotel with property owner the United Hotels Company. 

Among those present was Prime Minister’s adviser Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, other dignitaries, corporate clients and media representatives. 

The agreement was signed by United Hotels Company chairman and managing director Dr Omar Al Mardhi and IHG chief operating officer for India, Middle East and Africa Pascal Gauvin.
