Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his Palace in Riffa the Philippines President’s Special Envoy to the GCC countries and President of AMA International University Ambassador Dr. Amable Aguiluz, and lauded the depth of the Bahrain-Philippines relations.

HRH Premier affirmed the government’s constant keenness to stimulate foreign investments and enhance their participation in the kingdom’s development process through providing them with all facilitates and available potentials, stressing that investment in the education field is part of the government’s strategy to develop human resources, a strategy in which the kingdom has achieved remarkable success, he said.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of consolidating the initiatives of the private sector in the two countries to launch joint investment ventures that benefit the two friendly peoples.

The way is already paved for attracting more investments, especially in the education field in light of Bahrain’s keenness to provide all requirements that ensure delivering high quality education services that improve the quality of education output and serve the national development march, he said.

Dr. Amable Aguiluz expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for the government’s unwavering support to investments, especially in the education field.

He also valued highly the Prime Minister’s interest in enhancing the kingdom’s relations with his country, and continuous assertion of the need to open up wider horizons of relations with it.

The Philippines is interested in developing its relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and boosting investment opportunities so as to increase the volume of bilateral trade and the number of joint investment projects, the Philippines President’s Special Envoy said.
