HRH Premier praises people’s national responsibility

Manama, Sep 2 (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister, today at the Gudaibiya Palace, received a number of the Kingdom’s senior officials, members of the House of Representatives and Shura Council, clerics, intellectuals, businessmen, press and media men and citizens.


HRH Premier stressed supporting small merchants and owners of professions and trades, including fishermen and meeting their needs.

HRH Premier praised the cohesion of the internal front in facing the national security challenges, and the national responsibility shown by the people of Bahrain in facing terrorism, and emphasized the importance of collective partnership in building the country and the people’s support for the process of development, and commended the consistent national stances that protect the kingdom from chaos and destruction plans.

He thanked the noble feelings expressed by the citizens on the occasion of being granted the European Award for the International Personality of the Year 2013.

He pointed out the tension witnessed in the Arab region and warned of the chaos that pushes the region into complications under the terms of democracy, and noted the challenges facing the Arab nation and the need to exert more efforts and coordination among the brotherly leaders to create the appropriate environment for achieving the aspirations of the Arab people for development and progress.

He asserted the events have taken place in Bahrain were not actually aimed at achieving demands of life, but an attempt to drag the country into chaos and destruction, but thanks to the people’s stance that contributed to the protection of the kingdom.

HRH Prime Minister lauded the role of journalists and media men and opinion writers whom informed the people and directed them to the love of the homeland and to contribute to the country’s prosperity and progress and failing all attempts targeting dividing the country.
