Manama, May. 4. (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.

The two leaders reviewed the results of HRH the Crown Prince’s recent visit to Russia and the Russian side’s great interest in it, which, they said, reflected the distinguished position enjoyed by the kingdom at the international arena.

In this regard, HRH Premier stressed the need to take optimum advantage of the fruitful outcomes of the visit to strengthen Bahrain’s strategic relations with Russia, especially regarding the launch of a direct air route between Bahrain and Moscow, calling for the need to inaugurate it as soon as possible.

HRH Premier and HRH the Crown Prince extended sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his constant support for the national press, which has enabled it to assume its noble mission in the best way.

They reiterated the government’s support for the national press and keenness to ensure decent living for the press community in order to motivate its members to exert more efforts.
