Manama, Sep 6 (BNA) – HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received Minister of External Affairs and Overseas Indian Affairs, Suchma Swaraj, who is visiting Bahrain to participate in (Strengthening Indian expatriates role Forum).

HRH Premier commended the Bahraini-Indian deep-rooted relations based on mutual respect, and India’s strong political and economic standing in the region. He highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to expand Bahraini-Indian cooperation, particularly in economic and investment fields.

He noted the economic and scientific development witnessed by India that made it a regional power capable of attracting investors, underlining benefiting from Indian expertise.

He lauded the Indian community’s contributions in the development process materialized by Bahrain, looking forward to reinforcing joint cooperation.

He affirmed Bahrain’s government’s support for all initiates aim at bolstering cooperation with various countries of the world, and wished the forum success.

The Indian Minister praised HRH Premier’s interest in promoting bilateral relations in all fields, underscoring his role in leading the development process in Bahrain.
