Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, members of the Shura and Representatives Councils and senior officials, in the presence of former Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani.

HRH the Premier said Bahrain, like many other countries in the region, had taken exceptional decisions to handle the economic challenges and overcome their pitfalls. He added the fast-paced developments have reduced available alternatives and pushed for the exceptional decisions. He thanked the legislative branch for its keenness on the national interest, stressing the government’s interest in consolidating cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to serve the nation and achieve citizens’ aspirations.

HRH the Prime Minister underscored the need for concerted efforts to overcome the current challenges, pointing out that the national interest will remain the main goal.
