HRH Premier receives MPs, senior officials

Manama, Jan 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa affirmed that Bahrain has an integrated legislative system constantly subject to review and adjustment in conformity with the developing needs and requirements of all sectors to ensure the provision of their services to all sectors of development.


This came as HRH Prime Minister, today at Qudaibiya Palace, received Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and a number of members, as well as senior government officials. Former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani was present.

HRH Prime Minister stressed the government support for the homeland and citizens’ interests through its decisions and policies on the basis of partnership and consultation, as Bahrain has always been.

He said that the parliamentary supervision is always welcome in the framework of the parliament-government partnership to bring the best to the homeland and citizen.

He pointed out the need for redoubling efforts, in light of the current challenges, to push trade, investment and production march in all sectors, underlining the vital role of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to step up the pace of growth and support the government’s efforts to avoid any flaw may disrupt the economic development process in the country.

He stressed resolve to maintain security, stability and progress in view of the challenges lashing the globe, stressing to decisively stand against the continuing interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
