Manama, Mar 10 (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, today at Qudhaibyia Palace, received outgoing Ambassador Lee Chin of China to Bahrain, and stressed the importance of developing economic and political cooperation with China as a superpower of influence on global security and stability.

HRH Premier emphasized that the accelerated global developments necessitate closer cooperation among countries.

He called for intensifying visits between Bahraini officials and their Chinese counterparts to follow up the implementation of cooperation agreements and pushing for further development to achieve common interests.

Chinese Premier’s greetings were conveyed to HRH Premier by the Chinese Ambassador, who commended HRH Premier’s acute vision in analyzing the regional developments.

HRH Premier lauded the key role played by the outgoing Chinese Ambassador in promoting bilateral relations and cooperation.

He singled out the Chinese role at the international level and orientating its political and economic weight toward supporting just causes in the world.

He praised the growing Bahraini-Chinese relations and cooperation witnessed in various areas, including trade, economic and investment. He underlined Bahrain’s commitment to strengthen its relations with China in all fields under the positive indications realized by the bilateral relations.

HRH Premier asked the Chinese Ambassador to convey his regards to the Chinese leadership, wishing the Chinese Ambassador success in his future diplomatic missions.

The two sides also discussed regional and international developments.
