Manama-Nov23(BNA)A new centre dedicated to the development of Bahrain women’s competences will open on Wednesday in Aali.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women will patronize the inauguration of the “Reyadat Centre”.
The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) established the facility in partnership with the Bahrain Development bank (BDB) and the Bahrain Business Incubator Centre (BIC).
The newly-established centre is in line with the SCW –drive to promote Bahraini women’s economic empowerment.
The BD3 million centre will serve as an incubator that provides administrative services, training and consultations to help young women entrepreneurs set up small or medium businesses.
The project will work on developing women investors’ skills in business administration and self-employment fields and give them the chance to succeed by providing a protective environment for their projects during initial phases.
The Reyadat centre will be under the administrative supervision of the Bahrain Business Incubator Centre – an offshoot of the Bahrain Development Bank.
