Human Rights Minister condoles the family of the deceased girl

Geneva, Sep 9 (BNA) – Minister of Human Rights Affairs, Dr. Salah Ali Abdulrahman, extended deepest condolence and sympathy to the family of the deceased child, Fatima, and stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain attaches great importance to health sector represented by the provision of rights of health and medical care for all citizens as preserved in the Constitution and laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.


He told Bahrain News Agency that the Cabinet, at its last meeting, discussed the case of the deceased girl and directed the concerned authorities to take necessary action.

He pointed out the Ministry of Human Rights, through the representative of the Ministry of Health in the Supreme Coordination Committee for Human Rights, has been following with great interest the investigation and the reasons led to the deterioration of the condition of the deceased and the culprit shall be punished when the guilt is proven.

He explained the government is keen to follow the level of health services and pointed to the existence of the parliamentary follow-up and judicial proceedings, and stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain is a state of law and institutions and law will be applied.
