icflix, a Dubai-based online streaming service, has formed a partnership with Bahraini telecom operator VIVA Bahrain. The deal allows VIVA to offer its customers access to premium movies, TV shows, cartoons and documentaries via icflix’s platform, for BD3 ($8) a month.

VIVA customers can access the icflix service on up to five devices including smartphones, smart TVs, computers and tablets. Subtitles and alternate audio options are available to make sure the content is accessible for Arabic, French and English speakers across the region.

Customers registering to this service will receive one month of access to icflix for free.

“This is great news for those who especially enjoy watching movies and TV series on the go on their smart phones or tablets,” said Carlos Tibi, founder and CEO, icflix.

Andrew Hanna, VIVA Bahrain’s chief commercial officer, said: “With this value-added service our customers can enjoy streaming their favourite content having the freedom to choose when, where and how they watch their favourite movies and TV series, including icflix’s extensive range of Jazwood (Arabic), Hollywood and Bollywood content”.
