India-Bahrain sign agreement on bilateral cooperation Dec 3, 11:05 am

New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a delegation level meeting with his counterpart from Bahrain in New Delhi. Post the meeting, Singh and Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation.
According to a government release, the agreement signed between the two countries was on cooperation in combating international terrorism, transnational organized crime and trafficking in illicit, drugs, narcotic and psychotropic substances and precursors chemicals. Al Khalifa, accompanied by a delegation from Bahrain, arrived in India for a four-day official visit on December 01 at the invitation of Singh. India and Bahrain are known to share cordial relations marked by regular high level political exchanges.
