Manama, Dec14 (BNA) To Mark the celebration of the 42nd National Day, 14th Accession Day and the Bahrain Police Day, a ceremony was held on Saturday under the patronage of Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in the presence of Housing Minister Bassim bin Yacoub Al Hamer and Minister of State for Interior Affairs Major- General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel to distribute 72 housing units in Safra among officers.
The Interior Minister congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for the blissful national occasion.
.He expressed his gratitude to HM the King for the housing grant out of his concern on providing decent living for citizens.
“This reflects part of the support provides to Bahrain police out of appreciation of their contributions in the protections of the country’s achievements.”, he said.
He also thanked the Housing, Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Ministries, in addition to Water and Electricity Authority for their cooperation that helped in the completion of the project in a remarkable time and within the required standard.
The Housing Minister delivered a speech in which he highlighted the good location of the project and good cooperation between the two ministries to provide housing services for police personnel. He said that the Housing Minister considers implementation of housing projects for police men as its national duty and is art of cooperation between the two ministries.
Brigadier Waleed Rabai delivered a speech on behalf of the beneficiaries, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to Interior Minister as part of a policy to provide decent living for the Interior Ministry personnel. After that Interior Minister removed the curtain on the memorial plaque and the beneficiaries received their keys. He toured one of the housing units. (MOI-media centre)
