Interior Ministry marks Bahrain’s National Days

Manama- Dec17(BNA)The Interior Ministry took part in The Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 42nd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 14th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne.

The General Directorate of Traffic, the General Directorate of Civil Defence, the Directorate of Operations and the Community Police all participated in the festivities marking Bahrain’s national days. The celebrations were held at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) under the patronage of His Majesty the King’s Personal Representative His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.

The Ministry of Interior paid tribute to the people of Bahrain for their allegiance, describing the festivities marking national days as an opportunity to express loyalty and celebrate the Kingdom’s landmark progress and prosperity.

The directorates affiliated with the Interior Ministry outlined their respective duties and provide security and safety guidelines, giving the public the opportunity to be updated in their cutting-edge security technologies.

The people who attended the BIC festivities commended the ministry’s keenness on providing premium and expedite services, paying tribute to Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa for providing them the opportunity to be updated on security programmes.
