Manama, July 31 (BNA): The Al-Hakoor family has strongly denounced the repeated blatant Iranian interference in the kingdom’s domestic affairs.

It condemned the Iranian officials’ hostile statements aimed at igniting tension in the country, stressing that Iran’s interference contravenes the good neighbourliness principles and international laws and norms, as well as the charters of the UN and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

It also condemned the terror attack which recently targeted on-duty policemen in Sitra by Iranian weapons.

It affirmed keenness to rally behind the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.

It hailed the statement made by Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa denouncing the flagrant Iranian interference.

It commended the dedicated efforts of the Interior Ministry’s affiliates to thwart attempts to smuggle into Bahrain weapons, explosives and ammunition from Iran which, it said, trains terrorists and harbours criminal fugitives. .

It prayed to Allah Almighty to bless Bahrain with lasting security and stability and protect its leadership.
