Manama, Aug. 1 (BNA): The family of the late Haj Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Sakran has strongly condemned the blatant Iranian interference in Bahrain’s domestic affairs.

They proudly affirmed loyalty and allegiance to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his government, stressing that the Iranian officials’ statements are irresponsible, represent a flagrant interference in the kingdom’s internal affairs and contravene the good neighbourliness principles, as well as international norms.

They strongly backed the sound measures taken by the kingdom to preserve its Arabic identity as a fully-sovereign country and safeguard its national fabric and hard-won gains, recalling the key patriotic role played by their father, the late Haj Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Sakran, whose popular petition against Iran’s ambitions and provocations, and efforts, alongside those of other Bahrainis, led to the UN recognition of Bahrain’s Arab identity under the leadership of the Al-Khalifa Family.

They reiterated unwavering allegiance to the leadership of HM the King, praying to Allah Almighty to protect Bahrain from sedition and evils.
