Islamic State link suspect denies trying to flee Bahrain

Manama: A Bahraini suspected of having links to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist network has pleaded not guilty to trying to flee Bahrain.

The 26-year-old was wanted by police when he tried to leave the country using another person’s passport, according to court documents.

He was arrested at Bahrain International Airport on April 20 when a Customs official noticed a difference
