Manama: Oct. 13 — (BNA)– The International Social Media Association and Social Media Club (ISMC) (Bahrain chapter) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) for the purpose of mutually exchanging expertise and creating a state of integration.
The Club’s chairman Ali Sabkar said that the deal was concluded on the sidelines of the (Social Media and PR Forum) in Dubai recently. The agreement includes the organizing of training courses in the Club and the Association as well as coordination in organizing events throughout the Middle East. The memorandum was signed emanating from the Club’s keenness on entering into effective partnerships with sundry organizations inside the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad which contribute in achieving the Club’s vision in making Bahrain the home of the Middle social media industry. The agreement comes into effect in the foreseeable future.
Karen Dauphin the GM of the Middle East PR Association said : (It is high time for PR officers in the Gulf to explore social media in partnership with the experienced International Social Media Club. She aspired that practical results of this agreement will emerge as soon as the two sides are able to start investing into effective cooperation and integration. (IY)
